Oreo

In his kennel, Oreo greets us with measured excitement and curiosity. He knows exactly what to expect and waits patiently at the door to have his leash put on so he can go for a walk. He walks calmly and slowly on the leash, occasionally glancing at the person beside him. Oreo understands what is expected of him and easily stops, follows the leash, and changes direction. His slight nervousness is still evident in his gait. He is indifferent toward other dogs.

Enclosed spaces are definitely unfamiliar to him and make him freeze up—that is how he reacts to everything new. When touched, he tenses his body and goes still. He tolerates having his ears, teeth, and paws checked, but remains tense the entire time.
This means he will need an environment that provides him with the necessary space and owners who know how to read his body language. Oreo does not seek human attention. He won't be the type of cuddly dog to lie on the sofa with you, but he will be the kind who brings peace and a sense of security through his presence.
