If you also love animals and would like to dedicate some of your time to help those in need, we have several wonderful volunteering opportunities! By joining our team, you will make new friends, gain valuable experience, and help us care for more animals. Together, we will work to change public perceptions regarding stray animals.

Volunteering with our organization allows you to directly contribute to the welfare of abandoned animals. Your efforts and work will not only help improve their lives at the shelter but also increase their chances of finding their new family. You can truly change their lives for the better.

Volunteers work as a team, which involves taking on various responsibilities and roles related to the organization's projects and initiatives. This is an opportunity for each volunteer to develop communication and organizational skills, empathy, patience, and even leadership qualities.

As a volunteer with our organization, you become an advocate for animal welfare. Through your work, you help raise awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by animals and, consequently, by people.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are several ways you can get involved in our activities – all of them are important and contribute to our mission to change society's attitude towards stray animals. Opportunities range from helping on-site to donating your time or talent by creating content or making items for our charity initiatives.

Join the Walks

We need the most volunteers on-site at our two shelters – every Saturday at Sestlavtsi shelter and every Sunday at Gorni Bogrov shelter. To join the walks, you must be an adult, or if you are not, you must come with an accompanying adult.

Educational Projects

One of our organization's important goals is civic education. Therefore, if you are an educator, teacher, or illustrator, you could get involved in our educational projects. These are aimed at children, adolescents, and adults alike. We would be happy to tell you more.

Animal Care

Sometimes, animals from the shelters need veterinary care that cannot be provided on-site. It's important to take these animals to our partner clinics promptly, so if you are free during the week or can spare a few hours when needed, you can help with logistics and transport.

Content Creation and Translation

Another important goal of the organization is to raise awareness and consciousness in society. If you love to write and have a high level of English proficiency, you are welcome to help us with original content or translations for the website, brochures, and other materials.

Charity Events

We promote our cause through numerous charity events and festivals that we organize or participate in as partners. If you enjoy talking to people, or you're good at planning or organizing various activities, you can assist our events manager.

Foster Care

Sometimes, dogs for whom we are seeking or have already found adopters need to be removed from shelters for various reasons. It's important that these dogs are placed in a safe environment that offers them protection and peace until they go to their new families. Help us by fostering them temporarily.
