Our Mission

We believe that Bulgaria can be a country without stray animals. We realized that the solution to the problem of stray dogs is rooted in changing the attitude of our society towards them. For this, our work focuses on three main directions:

Awareness

Our campaigns and events aim to build an informed and aware society with citizens who know their rights and obligations as pet owners.

Modern shelters

We seek dialogue with institutions and partners to achieve an acceptable living environment in modern shelters with a sustainable adoption process.

Education

We work to build appropriate educational programs for children and students.

Become a foster home

Foster care is one of the most meaningful things you can do to help shelter dogs. As a foster home, you take a dog from the shelter into your home until we find him a permanent home.

Walk a dog in Gorni Bogrov

Since 2016, every Sunday we have been in the shelter organizing the weekly walks of the dogs from the common cages. Walks in Bogrov take place from 10:00 to 14:00.

Walk a dog in Seslavtsi

Every Saturday you can join the fun with the babies and some grown up bandits from Seslavtsi. Suitable for small children too! We are there from 10:00 to 13:00.

In the municipal shelters of Sofia there are more than 1500 dogs who are looking for a home. Here you can get familiar with some of them: great dogs of different ages, characters and needs. All of them face one common challenge - to turn from an unwanted bandit into a beloved pet.

Adoption process - why it is so important and how it goes

Adopting a dog is one of the most exciting and meaningful decisions we can make. It is not just a gesture of compassion, but rather a commitment for the next 10-15 years, in which our lives will intertwine with that of a dog. We advocate a new and structured adoption process with clear criteria. Only in this way will the risk of dogs falling into unsuitable homes, from which they will be returned to the shelter, or falling into an environment that does not meet their needs will be reduced.

На официална церемония, проведена на 30 април, TimeHeroes обявиха отличените в Деветите годишни награди за доброволчество „ГЕРОИТЕ“. Призове получиха хора и организации с изключителен принос за развитието на доброволческата култура в България през 2025 г.

Становище на Бандата на 1500-те относно предложените изменения в НК

Предложените изменения на НК за по-големи максимални ефективни присъди са навременен отговор на поредния случай н жестокост към животните. Те обаче, са недостатъчни и частични, затова предлагаме промени, които да обхванат в пълен обем различните случаи на проява на жестокост.
